Costume Design - In The Forest of Starlight and Shrapnel
Written by Phillip Ridley, I design a fabric landscape of natural materials to fit into the dystopian storyline. Touring from Cardiff to London as a celebrated piece of Theatre.
Set Design and Making - Grotto
A Collaboration with Aiden Porter who composed a soundscape and script to live in a world designed and made by me.
Event Scenic - Street Food Circus
Preparing a site for a colorful, family event by hand painting signage, decorating table tops and hanging festoon
Set Design - Flora, The Red Menace
I worked alongside the Director, Georgie Rankcom, to design a set rooted in 1935 but embraced a modern sensibility. Coming from a love for abstract installation art, I created my own impression of a shared artists studio in New York
Facilitating Workshops - Garden Project
Taking place at Mount Stewart Primary School, myself and Maisie Wolstenholme facilitated workshops to invite creativity and conversations in a playful manner about all things plants, from soil to seed to Flower
Props Department - Black Cake
Working in a team of people doing set dressing on location shoots, organising props in the studio and helping with bespoke makes.
Art Department - Heartstopper
I made a 3/4 meter mobile constructed out of handwritten love letters and clear thread. This was a labor intensive process, but created an impactful final result.
Event Scenic - Boardmasters
Preparing signage and set with fresh paint and dressing multiple areas with décor to create an aesthetic and colorful environment.
Scenic Communicator - Die Fledermaus
I lead a scenic team to paint a series of gold gilded frames and wood grain an expensive wooden wardrobe. Whilst, keep constant communication with the design to ensure their vision was being met.
Scenic Communicator - Midsummer Nights Dream
I lead a scenic team to create a polished marble floor using glaze, paint and a wooden base. Samples and process images were constantly fed back to the designer to ensure the set matched their vision.
Drama Teaching Assistant - The Academy of Performing Arts
I helped teach children aged 5 -15 to dance, sing and act, which taught me that maintaining a calm mind and to be patient created a productive and supportive learning environment allowing students to thrive.
